bike storage ideas

currently i have bikes a bit everywhere. in the loft, kitchen(set up on turbo) and locked in the old coal shed in our outhouse which is par of the house. i have kept thinking about a bike shed out in the garden, but i can't help buy think i am just asking for them to be nicked!

    what would access to the shed be like?
    what security can you pit on the shed/inside the shed?
    whats the crime like where you live?
    are your bikes worth nicking?
    have you searched "shed 1" and "shed 2" threads passim on here where this was discussed ad infinitum?
