I have seen this bike currently on sale for £880 I believe this a good bike and has decent specs and prob well worth a shout at this price over the Bosnut? Can I get just a few more peoples opinions on the subject. Thanks.

    I have this question too.....

What competes with this bike.....Bossnut, anything else recommended at this price point.

Voodoo Canzo, but only when on offer. At full price it's not as good as the Calibre for the same money and little better than the Jamis for more money (at this Jamis offer price).
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

Thanks for replys. Maybe if I where to spend a little more say 1500... What sort of bikes would be best then? The trible B seems to smash most reviews but I have had a little go on the bossnut and something just didn't feel right.

    Have you seen the A1 - https://www.evanscycles.com/jamis-dakar ... e-EV339163

    Or the Sonda - https://www.alpkit.com/sonder/bikes/son ... -nx1-recon

    Currently choosing between these two.

Did you make a decision and get one of these?

Yep, got the A1 (it was for my son) and he absolutely loves it.

I'm very happy with it also. Seems a really well spec'd bike.

A stroke of luck is that they left the bike bar code on the frame which had a price of 1375. To be fair to Evans they were great and refunded the 125 immediately. So maybe worth looking out for it being in the sale?
