Hello.

If anyone cares, this is MFs new S3. Its a 2018/19. Its grey and black and yellow in parts. Its a lovely metallic grey and black that actually looks really sweet, lush, see.

Its like the Ford Mondeo GTI or whatever the whizzy one is of the bicycle world: its very fast and very well made and handles lovely and turns heads and is all MF needs but when he smashes it up he'll just shrug his shoulders, sigh and order another one.

90 rear 80 front Planet X carbon tubs running 22mm Continental Sprinters at 900 psi as MF is Italian and that is how these things are meant to be done over there. He'll get around to changing them for 25s as that is what you can run on these things now. Its running tubs because bikes are meant to be running tubs.

58cm frame (MF is all legs 6'2), Ultegra 8000 11 speed that is kinda bland - snicks and smooth and works perfectly but SRAM would suit the bike better. Ultegra is the Mondeo of the bicycle world so it kind of makes sense that its on here. It looks nice though.

Standard Aliante swapped for a carbon SLR as its 200 grammes lighter and MF uses them on all his bikes.

Standard stem and 'bars swapped Superzero (110mm stem and 42cm 'bars - funny sizing on these - go up 2cm from your normal bar if you are getting some) that are lovely and stiff and look well cool but the finish is rubbish - the Superzero is rubbing off the top of the 'bars already and they have only been gently moved once.

The standard wheels(Cosmic), saddle have been sold to offset the cost. Essentially the bike has cost nothing.

One bottle cage at the mo' because he is yet to find some that he likes. He'll then procrastinate and leave this one on there.

Its slammed because bikes are meant to be. There's no point having a bike unless its slammed.

Its being used as training, communting and race bike.

The only downside is that it is going to be an absolute pig to re cable. Internal cabling eh........

The seatpost is the nicest part of the whole bike. It curves nicely like a leaping lizard.

Oh - and the rear brake cable is far too long at the front of the bike but buggrred if I'm going to take it all apart to sort that.

    thank you guys.

its alright: its not a heart stealer keep forever but for the next couple of years its cool.

think its because i haven't bonded with it yet - first time we head out to crush clubbies it should raise a giggle.

I agree. Otherwise, looks luvverly. I thought your back was buggered though, will the 4 metre drop from saddle to bars not aggravate that?

Looks fantastic - regarding cages, I am a convert to the Supacaz Fly Carbon cage - IF you like a bit of colour that is - although they make an all black version as well.

Finish and quality appear to be top drawer, and using a camelbak podium with them is a positive insertion (oo err) but not tricky to extricate if that makes sense - the right balance of security.

Nicely slammed there sir, those wheels look like they will be a trifle fun in a crosswind. Plus side, whoosy noises will be very loud so I whole heartily approve.
Saddle height does make that stem slam look far more than it really is!

    Chapeau sir, chapeau.

pain is temporary, success is permanent.

back is muscular so comes and goes and so long as i do a bit of stretching now and then all is good.

when you're plugged in position it sorts of works.

    glad it meets H3 approval.

i took instructions from the best re slamming :)

when you have as much talent as me the wheels aren't too too bad - an average club rider wouldn't be able to use them though.

i have a 60 on N1 that i slip in if it looks well gusty but as we all know, better to burn out than fade away.

drop looks cool & slammed though :)

also makes it nicer to wheelie wi
    th the big phats on.

Nice bike MF, not sure my back would cope with the stance. Love the aero rims, what do they handle like in a gentle breeze.

if that means S3 over S5 then agree. if i wanted a touring bike with discs i'd buy a Dawes Galaxy and crash it into a Daewoo.

I doubt I have talent, more just luck on my part wit hthe wheels I dont pop wheelies I'd fall off like a clubbie. I do cool kid skids an bunny hop things to annoy people (an steal KOMS)

New cages in ninja black or with green bits?
