Morning, mild again it’s a pity I am working, it looks like it’s going to be a good day for riding bikes

    ciao

drizzling here but off sailing - bambina is competing at the Nationals in a couple of months so trying to get on the water as much as possible without coming across pushy parent, if you know what I mean.

Bambino still very tentative but we're getting there!

apart from that, a puncture to fix on a friend's bike and thats it.

bit of bicycle racing watching this afternoon - may get some belgian beer from Edwyn's.....

Good day. A damp hike with doglet. There's been a few police officers around looking for a young lad, they didn't say why. So my fearless mutt scampers off into the bushes-aha we thought. Whereupon he comes back triumphantly....with a crisp packet..

Doglet has got his priorities right then.

There was a news article saying that cats do recognise their own names but don't care, whereas dogs get excited. So when my cat is jumping up on things, pouncing on my feet at 3am on the way for a piddle, trying to chew my foot off 'cos I missed meaty stick time and pulling his claws where he shouldn't etc, then he won't won't mind being called 'stop that you b4stard'.
SG: has the new stray adopted you and Mrs SG yet?

Bit dull today. Day 2 of Easter hols. We're surviving. Today will be some home made baked bread for lunch with various stuff to put on it/in it and toots activities.

Later will be watching men in Lycra cycle on some Belgian farmer roads.
One of them isn't so good at it. He keeps coming in 2nd or 3rd or 4th or 5th or 6th. His name is Greg. Keep a look out for him.

    Morning folks,
All quiet chez nous, wish the same could be said of next door. Didn’t do most of what I should have done yesterday so should make an attempt to do some of it today, might just fettle the bikes instead. Unfortunately the lad can’t do most of the jobs I had lined up for him due to some excuses about crutches.

shorter ride than planned, fog in vale, kent cut off

stray turned out to be late in pregnancy, we arranged a stay with a foster family as we were going to away a fair bit and didn't want her alone or being moved around while nursing, she's coming back once they are weaned, then the kittens are being adopted, except for one as mrs s is smitten with kitten, we'll be a two pussycat family :)

Day of jobs and maybe a spot of work. Next on the list is to check over Stropteens car as she's taking her driving test in it tomorrow morning. Hope she passes then she can do her own taxi work.

Ride up to llandegla this morning to meet a friend. Still snow on the ground. Nice ride apart from all the "trail" dogs and the state sponsored brideleway vandalism.
Dragged to the shops this afternoon, but feeling like I'm on the moon so haven't really noticed.

Take a group of 20 or so top riders and watch them not work together.

    Ha ha.

Hat Bettiol. Nice TT. Only looked back once on the Kwaremont.

    Murder most apt.

    Setting: Deepest Savannah

Theme: An epic tale of biblical proportions and wide significance, a philosophical masterpiece.

    Scene 1, act 1

Poacher: "Do be doo be doo... A ha"

    Scene 1, act 2

    Dumbo: "Oi, f*ck off" [squish]

    Scene 2, act 1

Simba: "Ooo" [Crunch, munch, slurp, burp]

    The end.

Really? I was given a script for that once, allegedly for neuropathic pain management, took as instructed, and within 2 days was so depressed I was looking at passing buses trying to pick which one to throw myself under.

Rang the GP and gave him a bit of a shouty lecture about it.
