Help Picking the Right Bike for my 11 year old

Hi All,
I've been looking at bikes for the last few weeks and having trouble deciding what to get my 10 (11 in may) year old daughter as a Triathlon bike. Mainly competing on grass rather than road.
Originally I was looking at Scatto bikes but worried the bike will only last a single season, therefore i've been looking at the XXS womens bikes. My daughter is 4ft 10".
Any advice welcomed.

Whats the budget as to get a nice cx/gravel bike with hydrualic or even mechanical dics is expensive but would be best suited. Maybe look for a second hand kids cx bike with canti?
Iv'e seen kids do tri on grass on everything from bmx to aero road bikes with 23mm tyres,,, (usually tri is in summer so normal road bike can do grass but 23mm not ideal tyres etc....)

The bike workshop close to me has a Dawes Espoir 3000 in stock. I trust these guys all day long with my bike repairs. If they have one in then I would guess it must be good. Welcome to the forum - it could be coincidence that the owner of Perlie Rides is also called Adam - but assuming that's you please be open about it.0 -
That dawes is ok but pretty low spec and limited tyre choice in 26" & probably weighs alot.
But in reality its 95% about the rider not the bike unless its a total boat anchor BSO.0 -

That Dawes also has canti brakes, which are not the best as far as brakes go..................
