Invisiframe for a road bike???

So the mucky mob have Invisframe that they use to protect their frames from all the detritus they throw up.
As I'm on a nice carbon road jobbie I thought I'd protect my frame. I've put lots of heli tape on, but it keeps lifting and peeling. I think It's too thick to hold firm on corners. But if it's any thinner will it be any use?
So I looked at Invisiframe which they all rave about. They don't make a set for my bike, or any road bikes that I can see.
Am I being too precious, or is protecting carbon fibre a good idea?
If it's a good idea what do you use that stays stuck down?

I used helitape and a hot air gun on my carbon one, just made it more pliable when fitting it, dont need to go mad just warm it up.0

Bike frames are pretty durable things. I just leave mine as the manufacturers made them. A few dings and scrapes lend a certain patina to a well used bike0

Plus why would you want to weigh down a lovely light carbon frame with a load of sticky-backed plastic??0

It's a bike. It will get a ding or two. Put a bit of tape on the likely areas if you want but wrapping the whole bike is a bit much.0
