Warm, but very wet and muddy in the woods so the dog has been left in his pit until he cleans himself.

Today is travel 3/4 of the way to a mates for a meeting and then come home, pick the family up and go and see mate

Morning, appears we have Norse men invading according to BBC weather bird and confirmed by SG.

Pineapples about today WFH awaiting a large parcel from Yodel so no doubt it'll be about 20 small ones. soggy dog has been escorted around the wood for a bit she found a new playmate in the form of a whippet, fun to watch being the polar opposites in build.

Winds getting up glad I'm not up in the woods anymore lots of sticks would have fallen an required sniffing/carrying.

Coffee, ignite fire and relax... Sorry work really slowly!

Good luck LD. I hope the procedure is just routine.

Do Geese like pineapple? I've been chucking bits of pineapple at Kaons to no effect. However, I did not establish whether they were positive or negative given my repertoire of tools consists of spanners and a telescopic magnet.

Not nearly as bad as expected up here. Even got a touch of sunshine. I kid you not.

I won't say what i'm doing today as some people might actually be working.

    Laters.

Have you tried throwing a whole pineapple at one?

Ah, you know, that might be the solution.

Why on earth would you want a hood up in this weather?

I'm sure A&E have heard that excuse many times before, it's only the type of fruit or veg to be extracted that varies :)

    Afternoon Peeps,

Rode in through the brewing storm and will be fun getting home tonight in it. (Just waiting for Hopper to come out with something even more 'nails'). Busy here for a Friday, spent half the morning on conference calls and even worse, video conference calls as some of them are just plain ugly :) Busy weekend as well, with a list of jobs already building up, including getting the old oil burner ready for sale.

    Afternoon folks,
Being a southern softie I wimped out and drove in, mainly so I could give the wife a lift in and it means when I get to the pub later I won't be a sweaty bedraggled mess from battling the wind and rain. Should be sat with a lovely pint of beer by about 5pm this afternoon.
I had a customer known as Erik the Viking, Norwegian and about 7' tall. I do like a copper mallet, does she know how lucky she is Oxo. We still buy them from the Thor Hammer Co, also copper and hide which are even better. They look as good until they've been well hammered though.
Cafe has been done and I'm now feeling snoozy but there is lots to be done. There's even cake to be eaten.
