Prime rear wheel hub - bearings/axle

Anyone replaced the bearings in a prime R010 rear hub? Need to replace mine. Got all the fixings off but couldn’t budge the axle - got to the point where all that was left was the bearings with the axle going through them. Tried persuading it out with a rubber mallet but it wasn’t moving. I clearly can’t get the bearings out until the axle is out of the way. Any ideas what I could be missing?

I did the front hub and will probably do the rear in a few months https://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40004&t=13101848

That’s excellent. Looks like it needs to be tapped out from the drive side then? Assuming the rear has the flange on the same side as the front

Knock the axle out with a rubber hammer from the drive side to the non drive side.
