Tacx Booster - super noisy!

I've bought a second hand Tacx Booster and it's super noisy, much more so than my girlfriend's Turbo (Bikehut, £50)

Any tips of maintenance to reduce the noise? Tyre pressure is as Tacx recommend and so is the tyre/roller pressure.

There are a few videos on youtube that seem similar to what I'm experiencing.

Any advise would be really helpful. I can probably return it if needed.

I'm not sure if this is your problem, but the metal sleeve on the roller on various Tacx trainers is notorious for making this kind noise due to slight movement as the wheel rotates. A really simple fix, which worked for me on my Vortex, is to drip a drop of superglue on each of the holes on the metal sleeve where where the plastic can be seen.

Well, that's a result! Has made it a great deal quieter, many thanks!
