decent, grippy headset bung

for a carbon steerer.

Doesn't have to be superlight but not a lump either.

Needs to be able to fit my own top cap, rather than having to use the one that comes with the bung.

any ideas?

    Pretty sure I have an FSA one in mine, its been in place for ages an never given me problems.

    Deda (a good reliable option)
    Pro. (not as deep, but light, compromise is might not be as secure in some tubes)
    Colnago (deep, expensive though, heavier, good, and stays put).

    ...I've used all the above, one bike swapped a pro for a deda to stop slipping. Pro has worked fine on all other bikes.

    ...less deep means more likely to slip in my experience
