    Afternoon all.
My local is less than 100 yards away...

From the living room to the fridge is not 100 yards.
Perhaps Mrs BBG wheels him around in a trolley.

...and when he falls out of it inebriated...

Twunt landlord would switch to metric half-litres if he could. Oh, hang on he did. Pint= 568ml. As my grandad used to say “ could you get a double whisky in that pint?” And when the landlord said OK, he’d say “then fill the fucker up with the beer I’ve paid for”.

Language of Shakespeare. How Will wrote it is about it is still in some parts of the Black Country. The rest is Danish, or French. Add seasoning as required :D

  • Paradise. Great beer, curry and the people ain’t bad. Bostin.
Oh, and for the cycling freaks: you are out into the excellent cycling world of Shropshire and beyond. Bridgnorth an easy pedal, Bishops Castle and Craven Arms a bit further. The Wrekin and the Long Mynd.
Sounds good to me. And TLW1 s covers blown

That's my country BBG and more; the inhabitants possess a sense of 'yuma'.

I’m north of all of them, but all possible from mine as well as into welsh wales - route to Anglesey via Bala is a favourite

Yes decent run with the running club in town, recording for an exceptionally small time a pace of 3.03 min miles

  • I got to get myself up there: a good long walk up Long Mynd, Stiperstones, Wrekin, all good. Miss that part of the world lots. Don’t do so much riding as I have problems breathing. But will carry on getting out there.
Best memory of Long Mynd: the utter silence up there. You get up a hill in Hampshire and the flipping RAF are buzzing round it, or a flyBe going into the airport.

Then a sudden whoosh as a glider comes out of nowhere and nearly lands on you...

Got a chest infection in September. Then a cough, which I still have. Did some riding in October and couldn’t move. Can’t push it, so can’t really ride. Got an inhaler for after exercise, like Chris Froome I said to Dr and he looked at me like a freak. Ho hum.
