I think we will have fish of some description.

Girls will have sausages and beans and stuff like that.

Could you make this into a poll so we can decide what he has to have for dinner?

    I don't like marzipan. It's utterly vile.

I am also having fish, though mainly because I'm going to a quiz at mini's school, and the least worst food option was fish and chips.

Just ordered some Galician rump, some mutton shoulder and some chicken wings with my meat voucher. So the rest of the weekend is looking good!

Believe it or not - corned beef, chips and peas. This btw in a household that likes the finest cooking from around the world. Just a whim!

Corned beef out of an old fashioned tin with a key to open it?

Ah no, from the cold meats. Didn't think of that. Would have been more authentic/ nostalgic..

I'm guessing fish here - it's what we usually get on a Friday evening, very trad.

out of celebration for a very good friend being posted to NYC for the forseeable, the MFs are just prepping up some beef patties to go with brioche buns, a small rocket salad, fries and a bottle of Bud (to keep the Yankee theme going).

Even better than Lucozade sport followed by southern fried chicken and wedges.

Home made Pizza and side salad.

Sound ace. I love black olives, Mrs BBGeek hates olives. On a pizza, or in lots of dishes they are great.
We will be having chicken in black bean sauce. With gin.

I love black olives, Mrs Pinno hates olives too. I've given up trying to civilise her.

Olives = good on pizza. Anchovies = even better. Preferably both.

If you aren't keen on Anchovies, try this:

    https://www.bbc.com/food/recipes/jansso ... else_24036

    It's gorgeous.

You can use Anchovies despite what they say in the description but only good quality Anchovies which are not over salted.

sorry Pinno - i can't stand stand the vile, obnoxious, hating, racist Trumpian vomit of the ocean that are anchovies.

on the other hand, TDV loves them which is why she has to beg me to make lurrrve to her.

come the revolution i am going to devise a way to eradicate them from this world.

I love 'em. I know I love most grub, but I do like a nice white anchovy. The dark ones are ok to cook with, they just melt away.
