Hi my brand new giant propel jumped about in the cycle carrier on my car and somehow managed to rub and chip some paint where the UCI logo is on the seat tube. Only a small half centimetre section but is it likely that this could be repaired?

of course it can be repaired - why do you think not?

    nail varnish
    paint as above
    touch up pen from halfords
airfix as beloved by model makers

the UCI logo is painted on so my attempts to touch up would make it look worse than before. Unless I can just fix up the chipped bit and add a UCI sticker over it instead.

    Half a centimetre?

It's a bike, just ride it.

    thats an option

or just leave it and be honest. or jyst touch it up.

    your call.

either way, in the nicest possible way, its a second hand Giant, so a chip that small won't really put prospective buyers off that much.

If I was considering buying a used bike, an unblemished UCI sticker would be a long way down my list of things to check. In fact I doubt it would make the list.

    Is it the right size?
Is it stolen? - Any proof of purchase / other proof of ownership?
Has it been crashed / damaged / repaired?
    Does everything work?
Can I pay cash and take it away now?

What do the comedy stickers look like?
