Spare Wheel Bike Rack for Defender

Hi All,

I'm looking for a spare wheel mounted bike rack for my Defender. I need to carry 2 bikes (Pivot 29er MTB an a Canyon Inflite).

Anyone had any experience with these and any recommendations (for the rack that is)?

    First fit a swing away spare wheel carrier to the door and rear chassis, otherwise you will kill the rear door frame and hinges. I use a cheap Halfords carrier, mounted on the rear wheel, bought it 20 years ago and its still OK, done a few thousand miles all over the UK, and it lifts bikes so high that you can safely tow a caravan with two bikes on the rack.
