Wet out there, should really dry the dog off but don’t want to get dirty

Offices far away and a meal out will lead to a late night, so no training

Don't they just shake themselves in the vicinity of everything you've just cleaned, and job done?

Wet this morning, supposed to brighten up later so might go riding after work.
I've brought running stuff to work to go out at lunchtime, but my foot and back are already hurting at the thought of it.

I've got half the office to myself this morning, and yesterday I was left in charge of the kids for a few hours. The power/responsibility is scary.
  • day off but mf has chores and is aiting for a tradesman to turn up later than he said he would. will take The Hound for a stroll shortly mf thinks.

Yes, or in the case of mine she shakes herself dry splattering the walls in what ever she is covered (animal crap is a favourite of late) in then proceeds to roll around on the mat in the hall to finish drying/grinding muck into the mat.

Morning from the land of hipsters and roundabouts, many a dirty look was cast when I entered a coffee shop and ordered a simple black coffee, I think the barrister breathed a sigh of relief I didn't list some god awful concoction and add a pile of allergy requirements to the list.

Anyway, dull day quite literally, going into a grey building under a heavy grey sky to talk about boring issues.

Later have to escort the better half to a meal its her birthday so she feels the need to get drunk. I guess it means I get cake and a cheap night out couple of glasses of wine and she will be asleep anyway.

We have a handily placed downstairs shower room to hose down the hound when he gets mucky - straight in after he gets in the door. Then confine him to the hallway until he's half dry.

Busy day at work and waddaya know, the random annoying questions are coming out the woodwork thick and fast, mainly from people who think their little bit of KOFFA is a special case and needs costly/time consuming one-off bespoke treatment. FRO.

    Afternoon folks,
Took the Mrs to the fracture clinic this morning, thankfully she has a plastic boot rather than a proper cast. Apparently the fracture is stable so should heal up fairly easily.
Now at work trying to act normal, comparatively speaking of course. Even though I wasn't here most of last week the other slackers still haven't done a third of what I've done. I should demand a pay rise.
Need to go in search of food.

Loads to do, then home. I've just discovered the kitchen, where I can get free coffee, including espresso made with a paper pod thing. It's not great, but it's free. Ditto filter coffee.

Good day so far. Just watch some basket spoil it.
Sun decided to pop it's head out too.

Fixed 4 snags in quick succession:
Called the chimney sweep flue fitter bloke to see of he could do my gutters at some point. Then he turned up an hour later!
Put new shower screen seal strip in to replace the shyte one provided by the manufacturer.
Fixed the tiny leak (only leaks when it pours, which is every other day here) in the conservatory roof. Hard to seal a straight bit against wet dash and...
Managed after a bit of help with some top de blocker to get the grub screw out of the towel rail to bleed it. I even got the screw back in without a major flood!

Plus: Took the Porker for a spin now she's all back together and apart from a slight starting issue, is running sweetly. I think the injection fuel rail has an air lock but nothing major.

Soon it's time to get Shorty and Tricky and all the shenanigans that will involve. Time bananas or bananas fly..or time flies like a banana and fruit flies like sh(t.... I dunno.

    Laters.

  • MF is sitting at Bambino's new school waiting for Bambino.

Judging from the quality of mother here MF feels he doesn't need to develop a "beach bod" but more a "school pick up time bod".

Trying to work out if this means the mums are milfs, or milas.

All of the mums at my school look the same to me. I have genuine difficulty telling them apart.

Nah, skinny, pale, middle class, a bit anxious, slightly wavy hair. Can't help nervously looking at my crotch when I'm dropping mini off on the way to work in lycra.

I tried one of each of the sarnies. The brie and cranberry/apple mayo mishmash was the nicest. I was least impressed by the salmon and egg. They were free sarnies though, not much to go wrong there.
