I had a minor accident. Was going up a rocky road... lost track/balance... klicked out of pedals.. mangage to touch the ground with my foot.. but the bike went on the ground, not hard.. but I was holding the left side... so it was a little pressure...
The shifter got slightly out of possition... but that i fixed..

I see there is a tiny bend on the drop...
Not uncomfortable to ride with (the rest of the tour)...and it dosnæt look to bad.... and I plan to by a new bike (for other reasons) next year.. so I don'tknow if its any pont in replacing the handlebar.

Someone says it can be dangarous to ride when its a little bend.. because it can suddenly crack/break...

Its difficult to tell from the pics, carefully remove the tape and assess, any crease or crack id replace them since you're riding off road and they're under pressure. Personally Id change them as a matter of course if bent, bars are not that expensive, id check the stem and the area around the head tube for cracks too. Its a 2 minute job. But to be honest they don't look too bad from those pics
  • Thats my conlcution in the end...
I posted it here to se what the folks here had to say, since i thought the replays on the forum "back home" was a litte to dramatic.

I haven't botherd to do any thing.... and the last days i have been riding og my roadbike....
I feel safe just leaving it. I will also replace the bike next year, so I don't feel like doing to much with it.
