Anyone want to split a pair of Ortlieb pannier bags?

I have always used cheap things from argos or lidl. While they may be expected to be cheaply made I have never had any fail.If one did break you can get them for a tenner.
I always use a rubble bag inside the pannier , especially if a laptop or books were involved. I use a bungee to tie the side down rather than fiddle with buckles or velcro.

The one above is a posh one. I tend to go for more basic ones like these , and my current usual bag is a 15year old version of this

I bought one of these from Condor when they were doing them for similar money as I knew my old Ortleib pannnier was on it's way out so a year after buying it I pressed it into service but not before I took the internal pocket from the Classic bag and fitted it to the City bag.
