Tubular tyre puncture repair

Hello,

I have a slow puncture on the wall of a CX tubular tyre.

Does any one have advice on repair? Do sealants work?

    sealant may work, depending on the size of the hole. I've had tubs repaired by this guy.. http://www.tubular-tyre-repair.co.uk/

    Sealant fixed a tub for me today so it worth a try unless it has a latex tube in which get it repaired as if you let the tub go flat the tube can stick to itself and that game over for the tub.

    Anybody out there used the coastal trains in Catalonia ? I want to take my 20kg. Bag and a bike box on the train . Is this possible ? Thanks

    i've used the Continental stuff before and it works perfect.

    Fixing a puncture in a latex inner tube in a tub isn't that difficult but it takes a while. I've fixed my Challenge Limus doing this:
    Pull tub off rim.
    Remove about 6 to 7 cm of the base tape around the puncture.
    Unpick the stitching and pull just enough of the latex tube out so you can attend to the puncture.
    Use a small piece of spare latex tube as a patch (from an old tube if you have one) and stick on with normal puncture patch glue.
    Sew the tyre back together, and stick the base tape back on with fabric glue (Wilko sell it).
