Racing after stitches

So had an accident and have a 3” wound that is stitched up on my upper right thigh, getting the stitches out on Monday only question is could I race on the Tuesday(never had stitches before). The race is a 20 mile hilly circuit with a 2 mile finish of around 8-12% which suits myself

Could the wound reopen? With effort levels on the bike?

Check with the doctor/nurse doing the procedure. No one here has seen the injury or what it looks like now.

Anyone who says otherwise is silly.
