Hey guys.

i recently forgot to do regular maintenance on my mountain bike so this was fully my fault,
on one of my last descents my rear break got stuck a little causing it to overheat

i am getting the breaks re-built / re-blead... but would the pads / separator still be usable

For the cost I’d get a new set

For how much they cost (less than £10), I'd get a new set.
Have a look at my recent posts for a recommendation, I've ordered them today.

The pads are probably heavily glazed now, just get a new set.

If you've cooked your brakes you dont' want to put the old pads in.

    Good excuse to go shopping.

Hey Dave. & ofcouse the rest who provided advice on the matter.

There was nothing wrong with the slinterd pads when i initially bought them however due to faulty / lack of maintenance they got cooked. I will probably rebuy the same pads, was an interesting read though
