Well if you've got 3-4K to spend on a bike...

Might as well make it one that used to belong to Andre Greipel or Adam Hansen!

Buying ex pro bikes is nothing new.

To my eye they are both gopping.

Agreed! Who cares if pro's rode them. They probably wouldn't choose them as their own bikes and even if they did why would you?

WTF. If you had that money to spend you can afford something better than a second hand bike that a "pro" has worked to buggery and pissed all over.

When I saw these elsewhere a day or two ago they were shown with the Campagnolo Bora wheels on, which have now been swapped out for cheap training wheels. Still, top-end frame and Campagnolo Super Record EPS.

They also are very aggressively set up with cut steerers slammed long stems etc . Not worth it

Also - the MFs and I and I aren’t too sure why the author of that article is so impressed at having tracked down those two bikes: ex team bikes are generally quite freely available at the end of the season.

But yes, as above: why would you bother. 4K for a second hand bike. Nah.

These bikes don't seem to have sold well and those that are left are now quite a bit cheaper. For example, the linked Ridley Fenix SL Lotto Soudal bike is now £600 cheaper at £2,650.

Hardly surprising. Pretty much all of your posts contain a reference to ICAN in some form or other. It's almost like you work for them, or something...
