AM bike at Decathlon. Looks good value - what say you?

I was browsing my local store and saw this:

First time I've seen Decathlon do a longer travel bike. From the specs it should give the Bossnut a run for its money. And is that a decent rear suspension set up I see and not just a single pivot? Not that theres anything so wrong with single pivot designs, but nice to see something a bit more sophisticated.

    Looks OK, I would prefer a test ride before judging any further. The spec seems to tick the boxes.

    Why don't you buy one and let us all know how you get on? :wink:

    Spec doesn't look too bad although it's still a few years behind on geometry - 68 head angle, 71 seat angle and 448mm reach on the XL which is really bloody short!! 445mm chainstays too, that's crazy long!

    Very continental 'long travel XC' bike geometry and angleset would help nicely, that said I like how they've spent the money on the bits that truly matter like the suspension and thrifted where its less relevant (like the NX gearing).
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
