    I've had Charge Spoons as well (I've still got three somewhere) but they are the destroyer of lycra shorts.

    I forgot that unusual feature of the Spoon. The unnecessary stitching also ate my first shorts.

    Fabric saddles are the same shape and don't have the unnecessary stitching. I ride the shallow elite version and very comfy it is too.

    My bike came to me with a Tioga saddle with an ergo channel. Seems to be ok
    Ride like the wind,but go easy on those sprouts!

    San Marco Regal - at the time Boonen used them and it was in a sale so thought I'd try it and stuck with it - would get another (if it was in a sale).

    To be honest I'm not overly fussy though got other saddles on other bikes - had a Kit Carbonio but it broke and a Fizik Arione but it broke too (in a crash though so can't blame the manufacturer) and before that a Fizik something else which I loved but they discontinued them.

    Did buy a Turbo saddle for my winter bike because I have fond memories of them when I was younger but funnily enough it's the only saddle I didn't get on with.

    After trying many, many different saddles, im currently riding:
    -Selle Italia Novus Ti Flow on my "best" bike.
    -Selle Italia Novus Ti Superflow Endurance on my "next best" bike.
    -Selle Italia Novus flow on my gravel/adventure bike.
    -Charge Scoop on my crosser/winter bike
    -Selle Italia Max Flite flow on my singlespeed.

    ...seem to be getting on pretty well with the Novus shape so far

    I have 6 bikes all have Fizik Aliante :)

    All have the same bar stem groupset too

    im comfortable and have no plans to change :)

    So rode 25m in my in tried Fizik Aliante R1 and it was a delight I prefer this to my old saddle for sure (specialised Roman Evo)

    I have a charge spoon on the cx/ commuter (it used to be on my main bike until it started wearing out) and a Fabric scoop radius which is the exact same shape as the spoon but made of more flexible materials.

    I tried the Bontrager montrose saddle that came with my warranty replacement bike but it just didn't quite get on with me.

    Astute Skyline Pilarga VT. The progressive memory foam makes for a super comfortable perch.....for me anyway.

    San Marco SKN, love these and have them on every bike. Have quite a lot of flex which makes them very comfy, but don't feel 'loose' at all, tricky balancing act I imagine.

    Now not sold, so have had to build-up a small supply via fleabay.....

    Just put a Prologo Dimension Nack on Giant TCR. Saw a Cycgnr review youtube video, bought it, took a couple of rides to get used to but now I really like it. Coming from flat saddles - Fizik Arione and Scoop Shallow. Prologo takes some getting used to because it's a perch saddle. I think you (I) have to get used to moving around less. I've done up to 100km and so far so good

    The following saddles work for me;

    Fizik Alante Vs (all 3 of my mountain bikes have this saddle)
    Prologo Scratch 2 (for my road bike)

    I do find the Alante a little comfier than the Scratch but I couldn't source a Alante with carbon rails hence the reason I have a Prologo with "Nack" rails, the prologo is also narrower which could account for it not being quite as comfy as the Alante. I also found the stock Giant SLR Neutral saddle offered good comfort along with a low weight.

    1st gen arione whixh broke recently and newer version just doesn’t fit as well. Got a fabric line and love it but tellingly it’s 142 wide and my newer arione just 130.
