Tubeless fitted?

Pretty sure I know the answer but will ask anyway.

Other than popping the tyre bead, is there a way to tell if tubeless tyre is fitted?

Undoing valve to see if any sealant comes out but what if it has dried out?

Poke it with a sharp stick?

But if the sealant has dried up you'll have to take the tyre off anyway.

Let tyre down, if valve moves it’s not tubeless

Give it a shake and you may be able to hear the sealant sloshing about.

That is the best suggestion (IMO). But you would have to slacken the valve collar to allow the valve to move (if tubed) or not (if tubeless).
