Creaky wheel is driving me mad!

Bontrager Line 30 Comp front wheel from a Trek Remedy9 creaks at the same point on every revolution. I know it’s the front wheel as I’ve swapped wheels and the creak moves with the wheel. So far I’ve re-seated the Bontrager XR4 tyre with new sealant, stress relieved all spokes and greased them at the hub, crossover points and at the rim, and tried a new Maxle skewer. Hub bearings seem fine. The rim is undamaged and true. Only change is that I’ve started power washing recently. So all that’s left to try is a new tyre, or wait for a spoke to break. Right?

Power washing? Not good for bearings or anything on a bike for that matter.

What hubs are they? You say the bearings are fine but if they are worn due to water contamination, they might need a full service to with new bearings.

Use a sponge and a bucket of water, or a hosepipe with a gentle sprinkler attachment.
