Should really do a hybrid commute today but want to get back at a reasonable time to prep the race bike for tomorrow and if possible do more wood stuff

    Morning

A bit wet here. Been for a run. No yoga, but maybe pilates tomorrow.

Something potentially exciting this morning, hopefully it doesn't all go wrong.

    Morning.
A bit weary from yesterday’s wet walking, it was a bit like an episode of last of the summers wine without the summer.
Today’s the turbo yet again and more shoulder torture on rack/pulley.

Morning, dry for now. Cycling after work.

Currently coming to the climax of big happenings at work, handbags at dawn for everyone by the looks of it. Being relatively junior there's no point in me getting my elbows out but I had a lighthearted chat with my boss yesterday and said I'd leave if I wasn't considered fairly for any of the new opportunities, and that I wouldn't be taking any sh*t from any potential new line manager. I've worked very hard with next to no proper management for the last 4 years out of uni and never get to take the credit. Hey ho!

Morning, couple of days off to get bits sorted settled the car insurance which is amazingly quick. Insurance said the dash cam made it a dead simple claim. New car has been collected so I now own a Passat R line of all things.

Anyway dry at the moment braved a pedal in knowing it'll turn later so suitable clothing has bee brought in.
Not much has been occurring bar someones nabbed my coffee jar so ill be going round later looking for the thief.

    Matt, nothing changes here!

What place? This place? Or the place where you are?
Still bored. 2nd interview locked in for Friday lunchtime. Looking forward to eating something at lunchtime, then we have a talk from our in-house economist on the global macroeconomic situation at 1.30, which is always interesting. Might be an extended commute home, though it'll be against the wind, and showers are forecast, though I do have a new waterproof to try out.

The place where I am at. Utter shyyyyt. Cut backs everywhere messing people's lives ups and curtailing personal development.

The only place in the world I know where the minute you want to do more than than the bare minimum you get knocked back. Supporting mediocrity.

Utterly rubbish and demoralising. Have started looking around for new job.

Sounds rubbish. I love where I am but I struggle to prove I'm actually good at my job because my line manager whips everything out from under me midway through. It's hard to be enthusiastic about projects when as soon as anyone mentions it to him in passing I get completely cut out

    Happy Birthday V68!

Day off, public holiday. Slept in, then shuffled around most of the day because my back is playing up big time. Walked a few miles out to find coffee and lunch. Dinner at local pub. Woohoo.

    Probably for the best.

Definite extended commute home - 30 to 40 miles with a pal, though unsure of the route. :D

None of them will be me (my mate's route takes me elsewhere it seems), so make sure your boy is ready to step in case of irate ti bike owners failing to see the funny side!

Good job I had my minder with me, didn’t see any ti bikes, but quite a few with the extra t. Didn’t see any bamboo bikes either, well except for the collection of sticks and assorted other bits in my front room.
