Sun shining gloriously - perfect weather for a ride.

So I have to drive in to drop my engine at a friend's house so he can pop it I. The chassis for me.

    Then another day, another flight.

    Have a good one fellas.

Ow. Sore legs. Must ride more and eat/drink less. Another beautiful morning, but I feel I won't be needing the smaller cogs on my cassette today.

Don't know what sort of day it is as I can't see through the fog.

    Morning folks,
Sun was rising behind me as I wobbled in, lots of maniacal duck action going on in the park as I rode through. They seemed particularly pleased with themselves and were making sure everybody knew about it. Or they could have been absolutely furious it's hard to say.
Just got to get through the day without incident then sloping off early to meet the party wall surveyor about work next door before hitting the boozer for the beer festival. Tomorrow may have to be cancelled.
Enjoy the sunshine, hopefully you will find it eventually friend of Bally.

    Morning

Foggy drive half way, sunny cycle to the office. Lots of clouds in the distance looking out the window, possibly an early end to summer on its way.

I think I might have to go out all day and look at things. Several ice cream vendors on the way too, which probably explains taking nearly 28 minutes for 10 miles last night :D

    Morning
Wall to wall sunshine here and I’m sling free for the first time in six weeks. However no driving for another week or so and the consultant was reluctant to ok riding my bike yet. Not because Cycling will effect my shoulder, he didn’t want anybody knocking me off my bike and ruining his work. Which was a lot more complicated than he thought it would be from the scan, he had to repair 4 tendons 2 of which had massive tears in them, remove bone spurs and free my frozen shoulder.
My attempt to get the ok to ride because of how boring the turbo is fell on deaf ears as he does a turbo session most mornings between 5am and 6am and due to him getting knocked his bike last weekend. He wasn’t having any of it.
    So more walking today.

Have you got a tag a long?
They can cough/sneeze/puke all over the road then instead of in the house.

Good news Webboo, I can understand the surgeon's caution if he's just been knocked off. Sounds like you were properly knackered before.
Enjoy the ride Malcolm, although SG's ride/day balance sounds like it would suit me better.

Webbo, best to do what he says from experience.

Morning, can confirm a full sus is not a suitable commuting choice, its dress down an couldn't be bothered to bring non spds or change pedals so im a sweaty mess this morning.

V68, ducks were likely both, pleased about something but angry no one was giving them the attention they wanted!

Balcony, work, nap, work, slog home and beer garden.

Daughter's wedding tomorrow, off to the venue today, should probably start thinking about my speech. Or just wing it, as usual, it'll be fine.

Congrats orraloon (& daughter)! Mrs H3's mum "winged it" at our wedding back in October. She got up, slurred and rambled for a bit, repeated herself a couple of times, then sat down to huge applause! :D

Good luck for tomorrow Loon, hope it all goes well.
Just found out the aforementioned ducks were actually Egyptian Geese.

It's a post viral fatigue thing, so long rides are out. Also she is the only one of my kids who thought it fun to squeeze the breaks when being towed.
However I've just dropped her at grandma's (a journey just long enough to listen to "Mr Blue Sky" and put a grin on her face). Ride is On, so long as I'm back before 2:30 when school ends for child with poorly leg.

I have a weekend rendezvous with three boxes of pollyfiller and a lot of sandpaper.

Might sneak a ride in tomorrow but we're at a casino themed birthday party tonight so I'm not sure what state I'll be in at 6am tomorrow :?

    From Wiki
"The Egyptian goose (Alopochen aegyptiaca) is a member of the duck, goose, and swan family Anatidae."

I don't think it knows what it is to be honest, just go with loud water fowl.

If it's any consolation, that's pretty much what my consultant told me about riding at the follow up appointment 6 weeks post op. Time passes slowly when you're in that situation.

Tell me about. It will another 6 weeks before any can do any work to build my shoulder muscles back up, I need to work with the physio on getting my full range of movement back.
The missus managed to ask if I was allowed to do the cleaning again, which sadly I am. So seeing its our wedding anniversary I vac’ed through out and mopped all the tiled floors, so she might even take me out for drink now.

Do I do 75km of hills tonight, and 110km tomorrow, or 170km tomorrow and drink in the garden with the GF tonight? No idea

Very tricky to comment on that without insulting your GF.

I'm not bothered about insults, hotness and frequency of breast-enjoyment-activities are not positively correlated in my experience. I would prefer more activities.

I'm quite sure I posted a pic of her once accidentally when we got the dog, I got several offers for swaps iirc. That said, she's not a total chubber and has a pulse so she has a lot going for her
