Rigid Disc Forks for a 29er MTB?

Hi All
I'm more of a Roadie type now I'm afraid. I still have this old Fuji bike that I'd like to make into more of a commuter. I hardly ever take it off road now. The front suspension forks are shot. I'd like to put a rigid fork on it to make it lighter for commuting. I've already got commuter tyres on it but it really is heavy and I've got a massive hill to climb.

Yep assuming you have a straight steerer, which looks like it from the pic.
Just check the axle to crown length. Should be about 49cm. Give or take a few won't make much difference.I don't do smileys.

Look at the Mosso forks, lighter than most MTB carbon and have enough 'give' to add some comfort on road, I loved mine on my commuter and my mate who I sold them two (same usage) also raves about them.
Start at just over £50 on ebay (but yes, from Taiwan where they are made), I've used the Mr-Ride shop for other stuff and never had any issue.
