hey would like some help as i was thinking of doing a little project, that being buying a full suspension frame for an ok price and putting the other main large parts of the bike onto the frame from my carrera vengence, i just dont know if the parts would fit onto the frame. If this dosnt work then im fine with it, just a thought.

cheers :)

Depends on the frame you buy and the bits you have.

Carrera have been making them for many years.

Make a list of the bits and sizes and then look for a frame that might work. Stick with the same age and it's likely some at least will.

But without any info, who can say.

Key bits are the fork steerer (diameters and length), bottom bracket, wheel axles, of lesser importance is the seatpost.

I did just that swap and all I needed was a chainring, everything else fit perfectly.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
