hi ive just recieved my new bike today its a large frame im 5ft 11 with 31.5 inside leg the bike feels huge ive got the saddle set up perfect for my height and its in line with the height of the handlebar stem but the actual bars are a bit higher due to a high angled stem the question is should i have got a medium size or would it have been to small advice greatly appreciated

    However the only way to ever know if a bike fits is to try it. Check this out too. I use the handlebar reach check a lot when trying bikes for size.

    no its from pauls cycles 2016 model but it looks like the same frame but mines 27.5 not a 29er wheel size

    Wheel size has no bearing on the frame size, so if it is the same frame then it's correct.

    Trying bikes for size is fundamental as height is one factor but body length, arm length etc can make a bike feel different especially as most bikes will have different lengths etc..

    I am 6'1 and some bikes I would ride a large and others an XL, just depends....

    My advice, go and try a medium and see if it fits better.
