Who's following T-A? Can you fill me in?

I see Yates was lurking around at the end there. When is he going to start getting wins instead of being nearly man?

He peaked a long time ago.

What's that got to do with T-A?

He crashed out in the opening stage.
Unless you mean a different T-A.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

    Again?! Without Sagan's help?

It seems to be a regular occurrence these days.
Not sure if he manages to stay upright on his own but can't manage it in a race.

I think he lost his nerve when he became a Dad,
Anyway, he's supposed to have learning difficulties and so, in retrospect and with that in mind, he's had a great career. Perhaps with a bit of luck, he'll surpass Mercx's TDF stage wins.

The irony of crashing more often when you become worried about crashing.

Didn’t he used to work in a bank as teenager. He’s every so slightly obsessed, so maybe on the Autistic spectrum. So not majorly learning disabled.

I thought that was a prerequisite attribute to be a banker.

I’m afraid to say that’s no great shame or loss really.

He crashed during the opening team time trial, which seems oddly unlucky. Off camera, or Eurosport feed camera anyway, so haven't seen how / why it happened. So if that is the 3rd time unlucky / accidents happen in 3s then makes him a fair bet for success later in season, n'est-ce pas?
  • Can someone post that Cav is finished in Pro Race, just to set off the gimps and wobblies.

    Froome was mr domestique today

Is he finished, because he no longer hasn’t access to the sky doctors - that will keep them going for a while

    Nibali, Nibali, Nibali.
    Cav, Cav, Cav: not again?!

M-SR for me is the start of the season proper but actually, I only watch it because of that when in actual fact it's almost always a bit dull. The Strada Bianchi or E3 Harelbeke is almost always more interesting' However, that finish was rather good even if nothing happened until two thirds up the Poggio.

That has to be the happen in 3s done now for Cavendish shurely? Faites vos jeux for later in year.

Here goes. How come Sagan looks like your regular fat bloke on a bike and yet is world champion?

Not visually good but the E3 Harelbeke does produce some good racing.

Must have been one painfull last 10k's for Terpstra.

Finally caught up on the Giro and watched today's stage.
Great to see Yates foregoing bonus seconds and allowing his team mate to take the win.

Yeah, that was a good stage to watch. Will Yates regret the foregone bonus seconds further on?

From my limited pro-race experience young Simon could be one to watch

He looked very strong going off the front at the end there, Yates that is. He'd not stuck his nose in the wind though, seeing as how Smiler was up front. Still, a good stage I thought.

He's been on the radar for a while now.
Bit to go if he wants to be a GC contender as he is very much a climber. Will need to improve his TT'ing but he's a very likeable chap.

Anyway, the Giro is already delivering. It's by far the best GT.
