Road commuter, hyrdraulic discs and mudguard mounts

I've recently moved further out of london so the commute has been extended close to 15 miles each way. My previous commute (9 miles, putney to city) was fine to use my race bike and sometimes the CX bike, but the new commute looks set to just ruin my race bike. I've previously had a kinesis racelight which I really liked, but I think discs make sense for an all weather commuter like this.
Ideally i'm after hydraulic discs, 105 or better groupset with space for mudguards and maybe rack mounts and don't really want to spend much more than £1500 or so. If I get something I like it'll probably be used for most of my road training miles, which is around 7-8000 miles a year.
Any recommendations?

The Hoy Alto Irpavi line caught my eye recently, has more racey geometry than most, Hydraulic brakes and fairly reasonable pricing on clearance:

Last couple of years I used a caad12 105 hydraulic disc for a similar annual distance with few issues and that's in budget. I use a carradice saddle bag and spares in a bottle and it does the job fine. If you must have a carbon frame, Evans are clearing out carbon synapses with 105 groupset and hydraulic discs which will do the job fine. Will be a little less "racy" though0

I'd also seen them, look fairly well specced for the money. Wondering if I can put up with those elastic band mounted guards as a long term option.

I have a sram rival hydro groupset on a Ti pickenflick that I picked up in one of Planet X's sales for about £1,100, using a £1,000 C2W voucher as part payment. You may or may not like/want the bike, but I only mention it because it doesn't have mudguard mounts, so I have to use the race blade pro xl guards. They do work to some extent, but in heavy rain/very wet roads you do get a plume off the front wheel that gets your front and face dirty. Also the fact that the rear guard finishes about where the brake would be if rim-braked, means that the seat tube, chainrings and front mech all get pretty dirty, as does the back of your legs. They are fine, easy to fit, and for me, they stay put and don't rattle, but they are definitely a compromise.0 -
Pinnacle dolomite ltd (includes dyno hub) but limited to approx 28mm tyres with guards looking at the clearance. £1700.
Or the new Cube NuRoad EXC comes similarly equipped but with more clearance for £1400. Looks more off-roady and probably heavier. Also has a press fit BB.

Genesis seem to have spectacularly missed having a super commuter. The Tour De Fer, CDa and Alloy Vapour range dont' get hydro brakes, the Coix De Fer is a boar anchor.
There are a number of SRAM options but I don't like the ergonomics of double tap.
