Yesterday’s Monday thread caused the forum to crash last night, I say with no proof whatsoever

Very muddy on the puppy walk today

Today is similar to yesterday with another hybrid commute and meeting.

    Morning

Was forecasting rain here but it wasn't, just damp roads and hopefully nice later.
Girlfriend didn't seem too bothered when I turned up with n+1 last night, and even suggested keeping it in the living room

How will I fill my day, no work to go to, no bambinos to ferry about, no dog to walk?
Neighbours cat keeps coming to get fed though.

Trying to buy a car is a pain in the @rse! Why can't you order it online and have it delivered to your door like everything else

Took me 2 weeks to buy my last car. They had to check it over, get me a quote for finance even though I was just paying on my card, sort me some insurance, do this do that blah blah blah.

Sound advice. How far would folk be willing to travel to buy a car? And how do you get there to buy it?

Some bastard has nicked one of your front forks :)

Most of the morning spent on the phone to KOFFA and doing annual appraisals etc. Then took a walk down to John Lewis via the BBC TV centre to see if I could spot any minor luvvies, but nothing of interest. Out tonight for dinner in town as part of the on-going celebrations.

Bright, bright sunshine, clear blue skies, minus 500 wind chill. Freezing.

However, cold 25 done with 4 nice climbs, so all well. Now to finish off a bit of last nights chilli remains and onwards and upwards.

As an aside, TDV mooted moving to the south coast of that England place today. Hmmmmmm - not too sure about that, see.

Re cars - 2 hours for the last one: TDV went to garage, pointed at it said that one please. Job jobbed.

Afternoon folks, still got the plague. Went to the quacks as advised yesterday to be told I have a nasty chest infection (I knew that) and was sent away for a chest X-ray and some antibiotics. Radiologist was very impressed with my ribs, said I’d done a good job of smashing them up and they’d healed nicely.
Being on a sicky is boring, lots to do but no energy. Might have another kip.
