I'm looking for an endurance bike as I tend to ride up to 100 miles at a time.
I have a budget of around 4500 and am currently looking at the specialised roubaix expert di2 2018nl for 4600.

Is this bike ideal for my needs or are there any others for around the same price that you think may be better .

I tend to ride my non-endurance bike up to 200km.

Canyon bikes tend to be popular as better groupsets and wheels for similar money
As do Giant, Cannondale,Trek etc etc
I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles

    That's a big budget!

What type of terrain do you ride? If its just good roads then you have many options. If its roads but not all smooth then the recent bikes with suspension in the stem (i.e. Specialized future shock) are a good option. If its roads and gravels/dirt then your looking at another set of bikes.

Be careful with the specialized future shock. There have been issues lately in particular now specialized recommend changing out the cartridge every 500 hours of driving. Only a $70 part, but shows there are some issues.

What are you riding now ? 100m isn't ridiculously long and people have been doing those distances before the 'endurance bike' sector was invented.

Good option but not a good option ? Personally I'd go for slightly fatter tyres over something like that.

I do rides similar to yours on not so good roads. I drive Bianchi Infinito CV and i am loving it. Very comfortable but responsive and fast. No shocks either to need to be serviced.

Personally I woudn't be swayed by the marketing hype surrounding "endurance" bikes. I've got a GT Grade carbon and wouldn't say it's any more comfortable over a long distance than my Scott CR1 or any other bike I've ridden except maybe cheap aluminium.

If you fancy a new bike for certain other conderations like you want Di2 or better wheels etc. then go for it. I doubt if you are going to find any bike on the market significantly more comfortable than your Scott Addict. Riding 100 miles on any bike depends more on your fitness and conditioning than the bike itself. As others have said, fatter tyres are also going to make the biggest difference to comfort as well so if you do go for a new bike, get one that will take at least 28mm tyres (and don't pump them up rock hard).

Blimey that is a nice bike! :o (and a great spec. too)

Only XXS and S sizes in stock though but if that suits you then OK. The only other thing I would say is Tredz do not have the best reputation in the World.

It looks like it is available at the same price on the Boardman website as well though.

    Dain,

Have a look at the Canyon Endurace CF SLX Disc 8.0 as well in the same price range. Only Ultegra Di2 as opposed to Dura Ace on the Boardman but 450g lighter than the Boardman.

Nice, but for $5000 I would buy a better recognized brand, just for resale value.

Have you looked at Giant bikes? You'll get a similarly speced bike (but not campy) for $1000+ less.

Boardman is well known in the UK. The Brownlees seemed to do well on them too.

Buying a bike with an eye to resale isn't something I'd do. As soon as you've picked any bike up from the shop you've wiped 50% of the value anyway.

What's wrong with the Scott that it can't do 100 mile rides anyway ?

I like Kuota bikes - I have the Kharma and the kiral is amongst the contenders to replace it.

What about this offering - or a n other from Kuota
