new cycling cam

Hi all - I am after a very lightweight camera for my road bike. So far have seen the go pro 5/session and the YI 4K Action Camera.

Budget is no more than 250-300. Any recommendations?

    I have the session5 and it’s great but you cannot hot swap the battery unlike the full size gopros. It is waterproof without extra casings so keeps weight down. I am pleased so far with video and photo quality even in low light.
    Best advice I got was to double the size of SD memory card from the one you were just about to buy, 4K video is seriously big files.

    cyliq Fly 12 - if you want long battery life.

    Think whatever you choose there some compromises to make. IMO the big 3 are

    go pro hero
    Garmin Virb
    Cyliq fly 12
