Should I buy this wheel?

Have you guys heard about this new bike wheel called EvoWheel? http://www.evowheel.bike
I was recently targeted by their ad and found it quite interesting. I’m a bike commuter but I think it might be too heavy and would be better on the rear wheel. Any thoughts?

    Whether you should buy it us up to you, and you've given us very little to go on really. There is a dedicated commuter section on the forum though, and that might be the best place to ask this question. Saying that, yes it will be heavy, and no it wouldn't be better on the back wheel.

    It's an interesting concept. No need to buy a new bike, just buy a new front wheel. I would look for reviews. I don't see what weight has to do with it. All of these things are heavy but they provide assistance.

    Am I the only one thinking this is a little suspicious? New forum user, first post, link to a website trying to sell something cycle related.....

    The electric Brompton has front wheel drive and that's a blast.
