2 x 10 On Stanton Slackline

I had a Cotic soul running 2 x 10 set up, no issues but on my 853 slackline there doesn't seem to be enough space to run a front mech :(

The mech sits too high to engage the chain on to the middle crank ring but any lower and the mech guide will rub on the chainstay.

Anyone have any advice on this situation? I was going to look at narrow wide on a 30t.
I like the bigger chainring as I do some road riding and need more speed there.

Currently it has
x7 10 speed rear mech, shifters, front mech.
xt fc m770 crank with the original 42-32-24T, 42t will be replaced with a bash guard.

    Is that because the mech is designed for a triple so has a longer curve than a 2x setup?

    Sram are a bit crap with model codes, but you can just about see 2x10 on the top right of chromy part.

    I couldn't find any of this model running anything other than x1 systems.

    It definitely says 3 x 10 on the mech.......

    Zoomed in, says 2x10 to my eyes.
