Mistakenly booked a meeting in an office far away with other meetings on, so early start to get there and a late return as the parking will be carnage

Maybe a gentle spin on the rollers later as I need fresh legs for the weekend

Hanging around waiting for washing machine delivery man. Again, so rock n roll it hurts.

Weights or turbo? Depends on how cold it is in the garage I suppose.

Last day before the men with a truck and a big box arrive tomorrow. Packed stuff. Tossed out things. Groundhog Day! Over it big time.

    Morning

    Early morning run
Train to work, OH also getting the train somewhere for a jolly
Gaiters and thermals packed for snowmageddon later

I'm sure the snow will be nothing but will cause total chaos everywhere.

So do I. How would we get back, do night buses go that way?

    Morning folks,
Bit chillier out this morning but at least the sky wasn't leaking. Fairly dreary day in the office with nothing out of the ordinary going on. Still struggling to breathe a little but think I'm finally on the mend. Drove in again so I can pick the Mrs up on the way home as she is a few days behind me with the plague.
Only had 2 cups of tea so far, better turn the coffee machine on.

All welcome. Only a half hour from the airport, but that airport is a 27+ hour trip for you lot.

I'm off to put 9 mils in the back of the kneecaps of the twaaaat who "plumbed" in the sink in the utility room.

Veronese - he'll need more than your bag of plasters for when I've finished with him. He'll need even more than my big bottle of Calpol.

Whilst us mere mortals will have to content ourselves with egg sarnies, a few cans of Kestrel lager and a kayak.

Just 'angin' abaat for a seller to get back to me.

    Laters.

Snow here and getting heavier. The motorway is apparently shut so I might take a back road home at lunch and WFH. Still fannying about which new mtb to buy

after they screwed the end of my femur back on, the hole was closed with about ten steri strips, much neater job than stitches

for mf's plumber, i'd recommend brazing

More tedium. Just spent 5 minutes thinking about what to include in the picnic to take on the plane sungod is chartering to take us all to Wheelspinner's housewarming do. Might spend another 5 thinking about champagne now, though to be honest, a couple of glasses is normally enough champagne for me.

Lovely ride in though - I dropped mini at choir, so was a bit later than usual. It was light, there were dry roads!

He's such a Webster's dickkkk. Arrrrrgggghhhh. 10 minutes it would have taken him to do the job properly, but oh no, frickin' bodge it and now I have to go out in the foul weather to see Edwyn's bloody son at the bakery/plumbers and get a new u-bend pipe thing.

I'll undoubtedly end up buying cakes as well.

    Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Any will do - just make sure to post a pic on here.

Pedalled in this morning and now trying to be healthy in advance of my shoulder op next week when I wont be doing much exercise at all, so eating lots of strange green things. Will venture over into Cake Stop soon as it was warming up nicely yesterday evening. Followed by more tax avoidance, just for the fun of it.

@ Pinno - it's along time since I've heard anyone mention Kestrel Lager. Do they still sell it up in Stranraer?

It'll have to go on another part of the forum as it's a proper bike. I want something more pedal efficient but that will still stand up to enduro racing...

ERrr - that links to a story about brothels.

Freudian slip or does that mean your resignation was caused by "outside parties"?

Think I've got one in the garage if you want to pop round. Or just cut a disc out of a piece of stiff plastic.

...and loads of silicone. Make sure everything you put it on is dry as a bone.

Those black 'O' ring type seal things rarely go back together (seal) after dismantling the trap.

Piles eh? Perhaps VN has some ointment in his first aid kit or is a proper surgeon putting them back in. Last resort, get MF round to have a look.

    Actually rode a bicycle today!!!
Pleasantly surprised to have the A5 to myself. There had been an accident the previous night and the road had been closed for 14 hours.
