    Lots of trials riders use them because of the combination of power and modulation.

    As do retrobikers.

    Kalkhoff e-bikes have them. They work very well.

    The Rotor group set has hydraulic gears and rim brakes (or disks).

    Someone needs to develop some electric brakes, the reaction to them would be so amusing to witness.
