fork suggestions for £200-£300

It's in Indonesia.
It has a rather basic fork (XCR), which I learned performs extremely poorly cf. my friends Epicon/Epixon air fork. Said Epicon fork cost around £180 locally.
I'm thinking of bringing a fork from the UK for around £200-£300, but I'm not sure what I should be looking at exactly.

Presumably not worth changing to a bigger hub (I guess I have 9mm qr centrelock hub).
I think I want/need around 100mm travel as I use it on 'road', which is rather a loose definition as these are frequently unsurfaced and consist of large rocks, etc. But much of the time it will be used on tarmac. Definitely not looking to go down a technical trail or whatever, but like I said the roads are often REALLY bad, and suspension is essential.

Those forks are also 9mm QR, the 100mm is the distance between dropouts, which is pretty standard (some new ones are 'Boost' which is wider.)
But they have a tapered steerer, yours is straight, so you might be able to fit them by messing around with an external lower headset.I don't do smileys.

You might struggle to find a fork that fits and in in budget, and a seller that will send outside the UK. I wouldn't.

Happy hunting then. You ideally want a straight steerer that's long enough, with QR dropouts.

Although I think they are Silver with steel stanchions, although the seller doesn't say. If so I wouldn't. Recon Gold minimum.

Not great, about the same as an Epicon I would say.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Yes I see, I looked up the spec on the Fox website and it's a 2015, nothing special, accidentally misread the 5 as an S first time and it gave a much better spec. £158 (not yet finished) doesn't seem worth it exactly for a used one.0
