Convering to 1x

I'm running shimano Di2 compact with 11-28 and plan to convert to Chainring 50t with an xtr deraileur with 11-42

My problem is i cannot find a narroe wide 50t chain ring. Want to keep my ultegra cranks a it has a stages power meter

Options (as I see it)
1) buy a sram crankset and lose my power meter
2) buy a wolf tooth oval chainring with 46t go for an 11-36 cassette- reckon i would struggle on flat club spins

Am I missing something? Any advise or thoughts

    How fast are your flat club spins?! 46x11 @ 100rpm is over 52km/h!

    I changed my MTB and I loved it. I noticed no negatives.

    I do find problems with bad chainlines when riding in a group at speed (i.e. when I'm clinging on). Easier to clean. Less noise and less problems
