Fitting sram force 1x chainring on rival crank - bolt question

I have a force 1x chainring that I'd like to install on a Rival crank arm and need to buy some chainring bolts.

The hole that is used for the hidden bolt still has the raised part that allows the teeth of the hidden bolt to grip.

Can anyone tell me if I need or can take this out, if so how?

Also, can anyone point me to the best chainring bolts to use as I need to buy five?

The easiest thing to do might be to just use a serrated bolt but this seems expensive (not that I can find one to buy).

If I can just by some normal bolts for £5 that would be preferable.

The insert for the hidden bolt can be removed, you just need to tap it out with a hammer. It doesn’t take much doing.
Any single ring bolts will do, I can’t remember the bold length off the top of my head but it’s easy enough to find out online.
  • That's exactly the answer I hoped for. Thank you.
