Was that when I went to bed, glorious -1 this morning ice a plenty drove through the deer park seeing many deer puffing smoke (steam powered)

Eye is full on manky docs a bit later where they will be prodding my eye no doubt.

Pinno, the flake looked a little less flaky this morning, If its too much I may mix up some smoke lacquer to tone it down, I think though the phone camera made it look too much. It'll be dark when I'm home but ill try for some photos in the morning if its like this again.

    Morning folks,
About 3'C riding through the park, very pretty with the low sun and ground mist. Lots of long lensed types stalking the deer, the deer were a little frisky so had to exercise caution. Lots of slow traffic once I got back on the road, definitely a good day to be on the bike. The old man is still an in patient, hopefully that will change today if they release him.
All kicked off in the retail office this morning between one of the guys and the manager. Ended in the guy storming out before being called back, there's a bit of an atmosphere over there now so we are making lots of bad jokes about team spirit and how good it is to have the support of your manager.

Bit early in the week for that?!

Just got a text from the old dear, she's off to the hospital to pick the old man up as he's being released. Very pleased about that.
Remembered this story from yesterday, the chap across the way from him was taken down for surgery and they'd found a lump on his bollox. The consultant called his colleague the sack specialist who said they should operate immediately and might have to take them both off. My old man has never been one to feel sorry for himself but was particularly glad he wasn't having that done to him.

True! I kept deleting too much when trying to isolate your good news, then had a strop and left it all there. :D

Great news V68, well not so good for the other chap though.

Forgot I took a better photo of the rim yesterday which looks less in your face.

Today I will be accompanying Miss BM to Bham dental Hospital to have her wisdom teeth extracted.
Never had it done but I have a pathological fear of dentists so I am probably more nervous than she is.

Perhaps should take Mrs BM along so that she could have some wisdom inserted.

How old is Mrs BM? I was about 18 when I had mine removed, young V98 was 16 I think.
Must say, I'm not too keen on dentists either.

Hot day, most of it anyway, up around 36. Then a screaming southerly gale blows in to knock 15 deg off in 30 minutes.

Dropped amplifier off to repair shop, then dropped self off to a repairs workshop too... :D

Estate agent coming tomorrow to get things rolling on selling. FINALLY.

Mother still here, which means lots of shouting, because the very bl00dy expensive hearing aids she has appear to be less functional than the amp I took in for a fix today.

She didnt know she had a problem with wisdom teeth til she went for a filling.at the dentist and he spotted that one side needed doing. Referred to hospital who said that both sides needed doing.

You can't even say that sucks hairy balls :)

Not on the bike today as it's hard to steer with one functioning arm. May have a go later this week though but for now it's Nurofen and maybe a run to compensate this evening - once I'm done beating up tax auditors and numbers.

    Afternoon

Wasn't half cold this morning, but nice to be riding as the sun comes up due to the clocks changing rather than in darkness again. Shame it only lasts a week or so.

Some dirty fkr let his dog off it's lead on the cycle path this morning while I was riding. It ran in front of me then did a massive sh1te at the side of the path then ran after me. Owner watched then walked off. I called him out on it and he wasn't bothered in the slightest and unfortunately there was nobody else around and Aldi Cam has decided to turn off again (I think it's going back for a refund).

Office lolz this morning when the two guys who sit opposite realised someone  had rewired the mice/docking stations on Friday when they weren't in, so that one controlled the other. That'll teach them to take annual leave. I'm taking "Someone's done a proper job of this" as a compliment but expecting mega revenge while I'm out over the next few days.

Aah, that makes more sense. I misread that as being Mrs BM. I blame old age on my part and a distinct lack of wisdom.
Glad she's got something sorted for Christmas and new year in NZ. Lad starts work for a month on Wednesday over near Christchurch, then has another job lined up near Milford Sound for December. Both on dairy farms.

Dairy farming? I bet that will be new to him. Can't see there being many farms round your way.
Daughter has hop on /off tour lined up with Stray to take her round. She will start off down south doing all the adrenalin stuff then move north as the weather cools.
She will fly to Oz to visit folks she met and stayed with hence only buying a one way Nz air ticket.
She will come back save up and then be off again somewhere else.
Bit different to my day. No mortgage etc for her. She seems set on spending her life seeing the world.
Good luck to her if that is what she wants. You are a long time dead.

Yes, farming will be very new to him. I think that's why he wanted to do it. I suspect manual work will be cheaper than going to a gym as well. He's already started planning the next trip, he was saying that apparently it's easier to earn more in Oz so he might work there next time. Only the small matter of a 5 year degree course to get through before that.
