office, at least for a bit

must try to resist the urge for a croissant, need to establish a negative energy situation conducive to mass reduction, especially given the orangette situation

maybe need to return to raw meat and veg for a while

    Morning,

First ride to work totally in the dark this morning. It's still pretty dark outside now. Got a mouthful of midges for breakfast on the way in.
Looking forward to the ride home - 50 mph headwind all the way

How can it be Monday already? Alarm did go off which is unfortunate. Good weekend was had with parties and a barbecue yesterday, felling more than a little lethargic today for some reason. They've replaced the lights in the office with fancy new LED ones, bloody hell its' bright in here. Makes having a kip unnoticed rather more difficult which is dull.

Morning, meant to be puffy today, was oddly still when I came out though. Some optimistic builders appeared to be planning some roofing.
Coffee today wit ha shot of hazelnut, was hoping it was rum. Office dog is laying on my feet an someones broken something major so lots of people flapping around the office. Normal Monday by the seems of it.

Some of us have elevated it to a professional state. I'm sure if there were qualifications in grumpiness I'd have letters after my name. People now expect it of me; if I'm inadvertently pleasant or helpful, they ask if I'm feeling OK.

I'm not grumpy until Friday. That's when the tiredness from working on PPP has accumulated. I'm usually quite cheery on a Monday.
Wind tomorrow. Wind Thursday and Friday. Will a Wednesday pedal be possible? I suppose with the Ferries not running and a few trees blocking the road, it might be like pedalling on Christmas day.

Oooh look, yellow sky. The end of the world is nigh, the end of the world is nigh...

But before it ends, I need to make some cheese sauce.

    I thought he'd eaten a Portuguese lawyer...

Busy day, just got home on the bike. It was warmer riding in this morning than it was was coming back. Bit gusty as well this evening, but nothing that a dose of MTFU couldn't solve :)

In between I avoided some tax, did some pointless presentations and perused potential new minions CVs. What a day.
