Shimano SLX levers without bleed port at the lever end?

I am trying to bleed SLX brakes. There are 2 wee screws holding the reservoir cap on. Does this mean I have to get it level and bleed it down the way, rather than pump the fluid up from the caliper end with a syringe, making a mess? I can't see a bleed port at the lever end as appears to be in most of the you tube videos on the subject. Older model perhaps? The system when you screw a container into a bleed port looks great, but doesn't seem to apply in my case?
Greetings from the wet and windy North west

    Which SLX version? (Number?)

Most SLX have a large and a small screw, you replace the large screw with the funnel.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

You force the new fluid in at the caliper end
