mongoose 3.0 vrs

Hi i have been given a mongoose 3.0 vrs i am wondering if it is worth spending £75 or so on doing it up to sell.I know it is not worth a lot

Any help appreciated

    It was $1400 in 1999 so was a decent bike. Worth restoring from a retro/vintage point of view, but to actually use in anger not much point.

    Thanks jgtr is it worth £100 if so i will restore it.I can paint the frame at work for nothing and get the decals from ebay

    Try on one of the retro bike forums, will get a better idea on how much it's worth, I'd only be guessing.
