Is it strange that the women's race will be on the Thursday and Friday?

Most of the stages in the Womens Tour are weekday, doesnt seem to dent the numbers who turn out roadside

I suspect that it means that the first 2 days of the mens race will have pretty easy routes. the tdy organisers don't seem to want to make women go up hill.

I hope they sort out their big mistake from this year. having 2 flat stages so everything comes down to the last stage was incredibly dull and took away the whole point of it been a stage race.

frankly anything is better than this year's ToB
150 riders taking it in turns to have a crack at the Hour Record would be better than this year's ToB

Well we've just seen that a TT can be way more interesting than the ToB.

Yeah, but with the Hour, there's only one person on the track at a time.

Not with the Budweiser super multi-hour challenge...

Is that the one that guarantees the American audience get to see an hour record by allowing the riders two hours in which to complete the distance?

Just as they get to the final of stage 2 it'll be 'entre cote de cow & calf'.
