A new dream bike leasing scheme?

I saw a link on LinkedIn to something called SoCycling. There's very little detail on the website but it seems to be in the early stages of being a leasing company for high end bikes.

Initially I thought it was clever, but having gone through their questionnaire, a few thoughts came to mind:
    - the cost is not all that different from some of the very cheap financing currently available - there's something romantic to owning a bike, leasing it feels a bit wrong - but maybe that's because it's new - insurance is going to be a major issue, for theft and damage

Has anyone ever come across anything else like this.

And to be clear I have absolutely nothing to do with this company at all.

Well as bikes are costing the same as cars, it obviously had the Chablis sipping silver suited wide boys athiking of making a quick buck a la double glazing salesmen.
    No it's not clever.

It's too bloody ridiculous to comment any further.

It's been tried before, a couple of times. I think Bike Swanky was the last effort IIRC.

Bikes Wanky is still going. Couldn't see the point then, still don't.
