I'm in the area so I'll probably be popping along the the finish later.

In other news - the Aqua Blue bus - WTF. Completely burnt out by vandals.

To be fair, it is more interesting when GC riders might nick seconds than when sprinters nick a few points. I think the tour ones are a shambles when all the sprinters do a half-sprint and roll through together.

No. Nice idea, but charity only goes so far. They wouldn't want it that way anyway.
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

The breakaway takes the seconds in pretty much all the days like today. At least when it's the sprinters going for points, there is something there for the 10th placed rider across the intermediate.

They aren't even pretending the points jersey is for the sprinters in this race (apart from putting an "S" on the map). Fair play to Trentin.

More helpful would be for Sky to just let them use their 'Hub' truck?

I'd rather they just included random prizes from the intermediate sprint sponsor. Or gave points for aggressive rider award.

Whoever does the geology bits of these posts has dropped the ball today

The food: they seem to like oxtail around here

The wine: Montilla Modules. I'm yet to be convinced but I intend to do proper research later

I think the whole peloton could fit in the Hub!

Plaza de Toros or Mesón Ibérico Dehesa Las Hazuelas seem like the places to go for oxtail.

Marczynski out on his own at the front. Contador and Roche attacking the peloton

Contador drops Roche, Sky giving 10-15 seconds to see if anyone else will chase.
