Km 195.3 - Alto del Castillo 2 kilometre-long climb at 7.2% - category 3
Sprint placement
As per usual - bizarre; 16km from the end of a 200km stage and just before a short sharp cat 3 climb
Run-In to the Line
Looks mentally fast from a quick view of CU-9144 on google street view. Sweeping corners on a slight descent with trees one side and rock face the other. To be honest it looks like the sort of road that makes you happy to be on a bike - wonderful views, good curves, no need to pedal etc. But for the last 5km of a GT stage - it will be quick
Anyway - gotta go to Waitrose to pick up a dine in for a tenner before they all go (peppered steak looks v good). Might do silly fripparies upon return.

Just finished watching the highlights - agree with knedlicky, that was a win that deserves a lot of credit. An excellent ride.
